The beach of Canoa Quebrada is one of the most sought after by tourists coming to the state of Ceará. Located 160 km from the capital Fortaleza, has red cliffs up to 30 meters high, contrasting with the white sand of the dunes. This is just one of the many attractions of this old hippie dream of the 70s, which turned into a major tourist destination in Brazil.

 

Canoa Quebrada by the beach (2-3 days)


Day 1 - Departure from Fortaleza in the morning. The script will be done by the beaches in 4x4 vehicle, through the cities of Porto das Dunas, Prainha, Presidio, Iguape, Barro Preto, Balbino, Caponga, Águas Belas, Old Bar, New Bar, Morro Branco and Praia das Fontes. Continue along the beach Diogo, Uruaú, the Sucatinga Bar, Piquiri, Areos, Prainha do Campo Verde, Paradise and Parajuru. Through Aracati, we arrived at Canoa Quebrada, where we passed the night in hostel of your choice.

Day 2 - Departure to walk in Majorlândia beaches, Quixaba, Lagoa do Mato, Retirinho and finally Ponta Grossa.

Day 3 - Return to Fortaleza via asphalt

PORTO DAS DUNAS

It is just 31 km from the bustling Fortaleza to the calm of Porto das Dunas. The main beach characteristics are excellent hotels and beautiful natural scenery. The combination of these two factors provides a pleasant and peaceful place to visit. Visitors can stay in resorts or vacation homes available for rent. The resort's Beach Park is part of the Porto das Dunas landscape, with several gastronomic and entertainment services.

The structure includes the largest water park in Latin America, which is the sea. Large water slides, artificial waterfalls and restaurants offering regional, national and international cuisine, as well as ultra-light and helicopter rides are service options offered by the complex.

 

MORRO BRANCO

Morro Branco is in the municipality of Beberibe, approximately 80 km from Fortaleza, and you can reach both the BR-116 and CE-040. Only Beberibe 5km. The Morro Branco Beach is internationally known for its lush maze of cliffs that are across the sea, which are subject to wind erosion and water.

MAJORLÂNDIA

Majorlândia is a fishing village located 12 km from the county seat of Aracati.Ela was founded in 1937 by Major Bruno da Silva Figueiredo (Majorlândia = 'Land of the Major'). Dense coconut trees and still white and red cliffs dominate the beach Majorlândia.
